Dr. Ali is a mom of 2 active boys ages 3 and 6 and an energetic goldendoodle. She grew up as a dancer and now practices pilates to keep with her motto, “motion is lotion”. She treats all genders with pelvic health and/or orthopedic concerns. She has a special interest in treating chronic pelvic pain and urological symptoms, like overactive bladder and chronic prostatitis.


Alison received her Master of Science and Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Texas Woman’s University and obtained her Pilates teacher certification through Body Arts and Science International (BASI). She has an extensive background in treating both men and women in pelvic floor and orthopedic physical therapy. Her more recent post-doctorate coursework includes treating complex pelvic pain and vulvodynia, dry needling for pelvic floor therapy, vulvar dermatology, pelvic physical therapy for men, and holistic treatment of the post-partum patient.


Alison values a one-on-one approach when treating patients and utilizes manual therapy, fascial mobilization, Pilates-based rehabilitation, dry needling, and movement science in her current work. She values the importance of quality patient care and service. She strives to provide an environment to optimize healthy healing and physical fitness so her patients may achieve their personal goals and have a healthy and more active lifestyle.


Alison has been mentoring and clinically instructing student physical therapists for over 12 years. She has also conducted numerous training sessions for physical therapists and Pilates instructors on the specific use of Pilates for rehabilitation and has taught as a guest lecturer at Doctorate Physical Therapy programs on pelvic floor physical therapy.


Alison sees women and men. She is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for in-clinic and virtual appointments.
