Dr. Casey Pherson, PT, DPT
Orthopedic + Pelvic Health Physical Therapist
Dr. Casey Pherson brings an unusually wide lens to physical therapy — shaped by a Doctorate from Emory & Henry College, a Master's in Applied Linguistics from Old Dominion University, years of clinical work in Asheville, NC, and yes, a Swedish National Championship in professional softball. That range shows up in her work: she meets clients where they are, communicates with clarity, and connects movement science to real life.
Dr. Casey specializes in musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions across all ages, with particular expertise in overhead athletes, runners, vestibular conditions, and concussion care. She uses high-velocity, low-amplitude spinal manipulation and dry needling for back and neck conditions, and holds an advanced certificate in vestibular rehabilitation. Her professional interests span orthopedics, neurologic care, injury prevention, and return to sport and work.
Outside the clinic, she's a distance runner and devoted family person — still competitive, still curious, still finding new challenges to chase.
