Dr. Kelley Ryan, PT, DPT, WCS, CYT-200, PCES

Dr. Kelley no longer treats patients but she is often co-treating with our team members. Dr. Kelley founded RVA Holistic PT in 2020 when she herniated a disk in her back — postpartum after her third child — and she could not find a therapist who could hold both things at once: the orthopedic complexity of a disk herniation, and the pelvic health reality of a body that had just had a baby. She could not find anyone who could hold both of these issues! The offices? Terrible.

Getting an appointment was a battle. The spaces weren’t child-friendly — which matters when you’re a postpartum mom trying to actually show up for your own care. And then, months later, a $2,000 bill arrived for three short visits. A surprise. The kind that makes you feel foolish for trusting the process. Dr. Kelley remember sitting with that bill thinking: this is not okay. And decided to do something about it.

“The patients who need us most are already overwhelmed. They deserve a place that solves the whole problem — not a piece of it — and treats them like a person while doing it.”

That’s why RVA Holistic PT exists. We see the whole person. We get to the root why. And we build the capacity so the problem doesn’t come back. Cash-pay, transparent pricing, beautiful spaces, clinicians who are genuinely exceptional at what they do. It’s the practice she needed and couldn’t find.

We’ve grown to two locations in Richmond — the Fan and the West End — with a team of PTs, OTs, and MTs who share that same conviction.
